Terms & Conditions – Supermarket Race Challenge Event Entry

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Curve Supermarket Race Challenge (“Contest”) hosted by the Curve (“Organizer”), Mutiara Damansara. The submission period for Contest entries will run from 10.00 a.m. on 15 May 2025, until 11.59 p.m. on 15 July 2025 (“Contest Period”). By participating in the Contest, the participants hereby agree to be bound by the following Terms.

2. Eligibility

• The contest is open to individuals aged 18 years and above.
• Employees of the Curve, its affiliates, partners, and sponsors, including their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
• To qualify and participate in the Contest, participants can collect all the spending at the Curve to enter the Supermarket Race Challenge.
• All entries must be accompanied with same day original receipts as proof of purchase from eligible outlets. Pushcarts, Festive Booths, Bill Payment Counters and Money Changers are excluded.
• Participants may submit multiple entries.
• Receipts and entriesare valid from 15 May 2025 – 15 July 2025.
• Participants must register at the Concierge via QR Code, and follow the Curve’s official social media pages, by the specified deadline.

3. Participant Selection

• the Curve Supermarket Race Challenge participation selection will be based on the top spending amount between 15 May 2025 – 15 July 2025.
• All participants will be contacted by the Curve up to a maximum of three (3) attempts via a phone call, email, SMS or WhatsApp 2 weeks prior to the event date, between 11.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.
• the Curve will not be heldliable in the event the participants cannot be contacted for any reason.
• All participants are given a grace period up to 23 July 2025 to confirm details and to submit letter of acceptance for the participation.
• Participants must be physically present at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara during the Curve Supermarket Race Challenge event day on 31 July 2025 at 8.00 a.m. Prizes will not be posted, couriered, or delivered. All prize collections must be made in person.

4. Prizes

• Each participant is entitled to a total value of RM1,000 supermarket race challenge items.
• There will be a total of 21 participants for the Supermarket Race Challenge activity.

Terms & Conditions – Supermarket Race Challenge Event 

1. Registration

• All participants must complete the official registration form with accurate personal details.
• A valid ID may be required for verification on the day of the Event.

2. Event Mechanics

• Each participant will be given a set time (e.g., 60 seconds) to collect as many items as possible from the designated supermarket area, within a value up to RM1,000 per basket/trolley.
• Only items within the specified event area are eligible.
• Items must be placed entirely within the shopping cart/basket before time runs out.
• Participants are not allowed to damage or tamper with products.
• Dangerous, heavy, or restricted items may be excluded from the race.

3. Winning & Prizes

• The total value of collected items will be tallied at checkout.
• Participants with a total value up to RM1,000 per basket/trolley and completed time race within the time limit (or as otherwise specified) will be declared the winners.
• Participants with a total value exceeding RM1,000 will have the option to pay for the balance or forfeit the items.
• Any unclaimed or forfeited items will not be reimbursed. All collected items are subject to verification by event officials.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash unless otherwise stated.
• Winners of the Curve Supermarket Race Challenge will be notified on the spot and within 48 hours after the event via social media.

4. Code of Conduct

• Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful, safe, and non-disruptive manner.
• Any participant caught cheating, tampering, or behaving inappropriately will be disqualified.
• The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant who violates the rules or causes disruption.

5. Liability & Indemnity

• Participants shall acknowledge and agree that their participation in the Contest is entirely at their own risk.
• The Organizer shall not be held liable for any claim, injury, loss, or damage suffered during the event.
• Participants shall agree to fully indemnify and hold the Organizer harmless against any claims, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to their participation.

6. Media Release

• By participating, participants consent to the use of their name, image, video footage, and likeness for promotional purposes by the Organizer without further notice or compensation.

7. Cancellation & Changes

• The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or make amendments to the Contest or its details due to unforeseen circumstances.
• In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified via the contact information provided during registration.

Spend & Redeem – the Curve Mega Voucher

• Spend a minimum of RM100 to redeem RM10 the Curve Mega Voucher.
• Maximum of TWO (2)receipts on the same day from any outlets at the Curve except Pushcarts, Festive Booths, Bill Payment and Money Changer.
• All redemptions must be accompanied by a maximum of TWO (2)same day original receipts as proof of purchase.
• The value of this voucher stated herein is in Malaysian Ringgit.
• This voucher allows the holder/bearer to redeem goods at any participating outlet at the Curve. However, it cannot be exchanged for cash, or any other forms of legal tender.
• During the redemption of goods, if the value of the goods exceeds the amount stated in the voucher, the difference thereof should be paid by the bearer.
• However, if the value of the goods is less than the amount stated in the voucher, then the difference thereof shall not be refunded to the bearer.
• the Curve shall not be held responsible for the loss or damage of this voucher and any of the losses or damages suffered by the bearer of this voucher that arise from or in connection with the loss or damage of the vouchers.
• Voucher shall be valid up to the stipulated expiry date and no extension of date shall be given.
• Damaged vouchers shall be considered as invalid vouchers and will not be replaced.
• Redemptions are valid from 15 June – 31 July 2025 and while stocks last.
• Redemption is to be made at the Concierge, Ground Floor, before 10pm on the same day of purchase.
• Download MutiaraX app, fill in the form and follow the Curve social media pages to redeem the item.
• The vouchers are available on a first come first serve basis.
• Limited to ONE (1)redemption per shopper per day.
• The vouchers can be used at participating outlet. Look out for outlet with the voucher sticker displayed at their shopfront. The list of participating tenants is as follows:

• The redemption is open to all excepts tenants of the Curve.
• By participating in this redemption, customer agrees to comply with all terms and conditions stated above.
• The Management reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions without prior notice and all decision made will be final.
